Viettel wins 27 million USD contract in Peru

Hanoi (VNA) -
Bitel, a brand of ViettelPeru has won a 27 million USD contract to provide information and technologyinfrastructure for 1,837 schools in Peru.

Accordingly, Bitel would help the schoolsimprove their services for the education and training sector in Peru, Thoi baoTai chinh (Financial Times) reported.

The project includes four packages and would beimplemented in 25 cities and provinces in the country.

This is the largest project which Bitel has wonso far. The project proposed by Bitel was evaluated to be better than currentplans used in the country.

Do Manh Hung, General Director of ViettelGlobal, said Bitel has been given trust from its partners thanks to addedvalues and reasonable costs to customers. This has brought new opportunitiesfor Bitel in the future in Peru.

Bitel took four months to win the contract. Itsrevenue in 2018 rose by 82 percent from the previous year to reach 30.8 millionUSD.

It targets revenue of 40 million USD in 2019from the business-to-business sector alone.-VNA
