On March 13, the Belgian business delegation, led by Crown PrincePhilippe, met with Health Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien, TransportMinister Dinh La Thang and Finance Minister Vuong Dinh Hue to look atways of enhancing cooperation between both countries in a number ofareas.
Health Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien said herministry is willing to work with Belgium in human resourcestraining, traditional medicines, acupuncture, disease prevention,pharmaceuticals and medical equipment.
TransportMinister Dinh La Thang said that he hopes that Vietnam will continueto receive ODA (Official Development Assitance) from Belgium andencouraged Belgian businesses to invest in the country’s transportinfrastructure.
In the financial sector, the CrownPrince added that the Belgian government pledges to support Vietnam inthe fields of finance and export and provide ODA for Vietnam in thefuture.
The same day, the Crown Prince attended aneducation forum during which Minister of Education and Training Pham VuLuan said the event offers an opportunity for Vietnamese educationmanagers to learn from experience in designing education policies.-VNA
