Vietnam and Estonia have signed an agreement on visa exemption for holders of diplomatic passports.
The deal was inked by Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh and his Estonian counterpart Urmas Paet on September 27 in New York.
By facilitating the entry, exit and travel of diplomatic passport holders of the two countries, the document constitutes a move forward in bilateral ties.
The same day, Minister Minh held bilateral meetings with his counterparts from Djibouti and Papua New Guinea to seek progress in bilateral ties.
He also sought support for Vietnam’s candidacy as a member of the United Nations Human Right Council in 2014-2016.-VNA
