Vietnam and Laos have agreed to promote cooperation in the field of information and communication for the next five years, contributing to strengthening friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.
The agreement was signed by Vietnamese Minister of Information and Communication Nguyen Bac Son and Lao Minister of Post, Telecommunication and Communication Hiem Phomachanh at their talks in Vientiane on Oct. 17, as part of Son’s visit to Laos from Oct. 15-18.
Under the agreement, the two countries will continue sharing experience in developing the post and telecommunication sector, promote cooperation in law building, hosting seminars and forums, and implementing relevant projects. Priority will be given to the development of human resources through exchange of experts and training programmes./.
