VNA, Granma newspaper strengthen information cooperation

A delegation from the Granma daily, the newspaper of the Communist Party of Cuba is paying a visit to Vietnam. On December 3, the delegates had a working session with representatives of the Vietnam News Agency.

Welcoming the Cuban newspaper delegation, Deputy General Director of the Vietnam News Agency (VNA), Nguyen Tuan Hung highlighted the importance of the visit, which takes place in the time the two countries are preparing for the 65th anniversary of their diplomatic relations.

Over the years, VNA has maintained a trustworthy and close cooperative relationship with Cuban press agencies, he said.

Granma’s Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Oscar Alberto Sanchez Serra said, the newspaper has been using VNA information to report on the situation in Vietnam as well as in the region.

During the visit to VNA, Granma hoped to have the opportunity to learn, and share experiences in digital transformation, and how to work in the online environment.
