VN’s women win first prize at Int’l volleyball tournament

The host Vietnam team 3 on October 3 beat the Taipei team ( China ) to become the championship at the International Women’s Beach Volleyball Tournament held in Vung Tau city, the southern province of Ba Ria - Vung Tau.

The three-day tournamentdrew the participation of ten women volley teams from six countries andterritories, including Taipei ( China ), Thailand and Vietnam .

This year’s tournament is co-organised by the AsianVolleyball Federation, the Volleyball Federation of Vietnam, theDepartment of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Ba Ria – Vung Tau, the BaRia – Vung Tau Tourism Joint Stock Company and the Tan Binh ImportExport Joint Stock Company./.

Vietnamese sports delegation leaves for ASIAD 20 in Japan

The Vietnamese delegation comprises 496 members, including athletes, coaches, experts, officials, doctors and medical staff. The teams will depart in several groups depending on their competition schedules, with the largest group expected to leave on September 16. The squad has set a target of winning at least four gold medals at ASIAD 20.
