Vung Tau to host Pro Tour tennis tournament

Hanoi (VNA) - The first Vietnam Tennis Federation Pro Tour 1 willbe organised in Vung Tau city, the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau fromJanuary 28 to February 2.

Some 100 players have registered for the event, which will have four categories-- men’s and women’s singles and doubles.

The men’s singles winner will take home 40 million VND (1,800 USD), while thewomen’s singles winner will get 30 million VND (1,300 USD).

The men’s doubles champions will win 10 million VND (450 USD), and the femalechampions will receive 8 million VND (360 USD).

The matches from quarter-final onwards will be aired live on television. –VNA
