Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on February 16 conveyed a wish of good health to his Singaporean counterpart Lee Hsien Loong who had to undergo surgery for prostate cancer.
The surgery on February 16 was successful.
“The surgery went very smoothly and he (PM Lee) is expected to recover fully,” Professor Christopher Cheng, the lead urologist at the Singapore General Hospital who undertook the operation said in a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office.-VNA
