Hanoi (VNS/VNA) - Standard Chartered Vietnam andthe State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) have jointly organised a conference themed“Accelerating women in banking for new challenges resolution” in Hanoi.

It is one of activities under the Minutes of Cooperation in genderequity between the SBV and Standard Chartered Vietnam to provide globalperspectives on women leadership and skills upgrading for women and sharing ofDiversity and Inclusion best practices and experiences.

SBV Deputy Governor Dao Minh Tu delivered the welcome remarks,affirming that the central bank has achieved key targets of gender equalityplan in the banking industry in the period of 2021-2030.  

Michele Wee, CEO of Standard Chartered Bank Vietnam, said: “InStandard Chartered, we are building a bank that drives commerce and prosperitythrough a culture of diversity and inclusion. We aim to be a Great Place toWork, Great Place to Bank and support our communities.

Taxes on real estate based on time property is held not feasible: Justice Ministry
