Construction of the Loi Chau trade centre and the Phu Vinh industrial-urban-service complex got underway in the Vung Ang Economic Zone in the central province of Ha Tinh on May 24 and 25.
The Loi Chau trade centre, which includes a hotel, offices for lease, a swimming pool and entertainments will have investment capital of 50 million USD. It will be built on a 35 ha site and is expected to go into operation during the third quarter of 2011.
The project to build the Phu Vinh complex will cost 150 million USD and include an industrial park, a 12-storey hotel, offices for rent and an entertainments area. It will cover a site of 220ha and is expected to be operational by the end of 2012. It is hoped that it will provide jobs for up to 20,000 people./.
