A regional workshop on the protection of ASEAN’s geographical indications (GIs) opened in Hanoi on May 20 under the chair of the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam.
The two-day workshop in the framework of the ASEAN Project on Intellectual Property Rights (ECAP III) has drawn the participation of representatives from ASEAN members’ intellectual property agencies, Vietnamese associations, trading villages and areas with GIs, and EU experts.
