Hanoi (VNA) – The 2019 AutumnMelody will be held in Ho Chi Minh City from August 17 to 25.

The biennial music event is jointlyorganised by the municipal Department of Culture and Sports and the HCM City BalletSymphony Orchestra and Opera (HBSO).

Music lovers will be able to enjoy musicals,symphonies and ballets staged by world’s famous artists, including classicalpianist Dang Thai Son, opera director David Hermann, choreographer JoostVrouenraets, the Chamber Players International classical ensemble of the US,and the Eine Flute Ensemble of the Republic of Korea, along with many risingVietnamese talents.

Notably, a rehearsal of Son’s concert willbe free of charge for students.

The Arts Festival Autumn Melodies was firstorganised in August 2005, aiming to promote young Vietnamese talents who studyabroad and make outstanding achievements in arts.-VNA
