The young Vietnamese and Chinese people who are taking part in the Vietnam-China trans-national cycling trip to promote environmental protection will leave Hanoi on June 27 and are expected to arrive in Nanning , China, on July 12.
This is the first joint activity held by the Vietnam Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment (VACNE) and China Radio International (CRI) to mark the 60 th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two country’s and the Vietnam-China Year of Friendship.
The young Chinese people who are taking part in the 1,000km trip are studying at Hanoi University and the young Vietnamese people are members of VACNE’s Cycling for the Environment Club.
They are expected to meet with many other young people during their stop-overs in Hanoi and the northern provinces of Lang Son, Pengxiang and Nanning.
The event will also include an exhibition on the cultural heritages of both countries./.
