Four foreigners in distress in the waters of Vietnam’s Truong Sa archipelago have been rescued by fishermen in Binh Son district, the central province of Quang Ngai.

These foreigners were spotted on January 5 by captain Nguyen Huu Phuc and his crew on board QNg 90325 TS vessel when they were adrift in the waters around 500 nautical miles from Quang Ngai’s Sa Ky seaport.

Senior Lieutenant Colonel Do Ngoc Nam, deputy head of the provincial Border Force’s Command, said the foreigners, who are supposed to be Philippine, will be brought ashore on January 10 as Phuc and his vessel are going fishing.-VNA
