Southeast Asian countries confirm more COVID-19 infections

Hanoi (VNA) – The Singaporean Ministry of Health on April 30 reported that the country recorded 528 new cases of COVID-19, raising its total to 16,169.

The disease has killed 14 people, the ministry said, adding that 1,180 cases were cured in the country.

Spokesperson of the Indonesian Ministry of Health Achmad Yurianto said his country recorded 347 more cases of infections on the same day, bringing the total to 10,118.

He also confirmed eight new deaths, which lifted the death toll in the Southeast Asian country to 792.
Indonesia also reported 1,522 recovered patients.

Meanwhile, the Health Ministry of the Philippines confirmed 276 new COVID-19 patients and ten more deaths in the country, bringing the total numbers to 8,488, with 568 deaths.

The total number of recovered cases in the country has so far reached 1,043./.
