Hanoi (VNA) – The Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) launched Vietnam’s 50 Leading IT Companies 2018 programme in Hanoi on July 3.

The programme, the fifth of its kind, will select prestigious and competent IT firms in Vietnam to introduce, promote, and connect with potential partners at home and abroad.

Over the years, the programme has supported many effective local IT businesses, especially those operating in the fields of marketing, communications, and cooperation development.

This year, aside from the selection of 50 leading IT companies, the organising board will also pick up 10 outstanding enterprises in digital transformation, internet of things, and new technology trends.

Businesses are encouraged to promote creativity and adopt strategies for digital transformation and the development of high-quality products and services with new cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, automation, and 3D-printing.

These technological products not only meet local demand but also contribute to the expansion of foreign markets, particularly key destinations like Japan, North America, and Europe.

A special publication entitled “Vietnam’s 50 10 Leading IT Companies 2018” will be compiled in Vietnamese, English, and Japanese.

IT companies with legal entities in Vietnam who have been established for over three years may register to participate in the programme on the website (http://leadingitcompanies.com) until July 12. The announcement of the 50 successful IT companies will be held in Hanoi on October 18.

In 2017, the 50 selected enterprises from the programme earned over 20.67 trillion VND (910.8 million USD) in revenue, accounting for nearly a quarter of the total revenue of the software and IT services industry. -VNA
