10th National Patriotic Emulation Congress holds preparatory session
The preparatory meeting of the 10th National Patriotic Emulation Congress convened in Hanoi on December 9, with the participation of 2,020 delegates across the country.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee on September 18 held the VFF National Patriotic Emulation Congress for the 2020-2025 period virtually, with the participation of delegates from all 63 cities and provinces.
National Assembly (NA) Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan has lauded the achievements staff at the NA Office posted in emulation movements during the 2015-2020 period, which contributed to the completion of the NA’s tasks over the last five years.
Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan has praised the outcomes of the patriotism emulation movement in the northern province of Thai Nguyen, saying they have contributed significantly to local socio-economic development over the past five years.
Party General Secretary and State President Nguyen Phu Trong stressed that solidarity has created the power of the Vietnamese people, while addressing a grand ceremony marking the 90th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) in Hanoi on November 18.
The second national congress of Vietnamese ethnic minority groups is scheduled to take place from December 2-4 in Hanoi with the participation of 1,600 official delegates and 300 guests.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, who is also Chairman of the Central Emulation and Rewards Council, presided over a meeting in Hanoi on November 30 to look into the preparations for the 10th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.
The 10th National Patriotic Emulation Congress is scheduled to take place at the National Convention Centre in Hanoi on December 9-10 with the participation of 2,300 delegates.
