16 million EUR to buy fire-fighting, search, rescue equipment

The Prime Minister has approved a project to purchase fire-fighting, search and rescue equipment using official development assistance (ODA) funds from Finland.
The Prime Minister has approved a project to purchase fire-fighting,search and rescue equipment using official development assistance (ODA)funds from Finland.

The investment totals morethan 16 million EUR, over 15.8 million EUR of which is from Finland’sODA. The remaining 200,000 EUR is sourced from the VietnameseGovernment’s budget.

The project will beimplemented between 2015 and 2017, aiming to improve fire-fighting,search and rescue force operations and increase their efficiency.-VNA
