Hanoi (VNA) - Nearly 165.8 trillion VND (7.12 billion USD) worth of government bonds (G-bonds) were raised by the State Treasury of Vietnam in 2018, according to the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX).
At the last auction of G-bonds in 2018 that took place at the HNX on December 26, the State Treasury of Vietnam collected 4.31 trillion VND (185.32 million USD).
The auction offered 10 trillion VND worth of G-bonds with 10-year and 15-year maturities.
The auction of 10-year bonds mobilised 4.3 trillion VND (184.89 million USD) at an annual interest rate of 5.1 percent, equaling that of the previous auction on December 19.
Meanwhile, 15-year bonds were purchased with a total value of 10 billion VND (430,000 USD) and an interest rate of 5.3 percent, the same as the previous auction.-VNA
