Seventy-nine years after President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, founding the Democratic Republic of Vietnam on September 2, 1945, the country has overcome countless challenges, achieved remarkable development milestones, and is now striving to fulfill its vision of becoming a strong, prosperous, and happy nation.
