Hanoi (VNA) - The Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and RuralDevelopment (Agribank) has announced it will continue to cut fees on allinterbank transfers to support customers amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
It will cut fees on both mutual payment services and the internetplatform in its third round of reductions for this year.
The bank previously offered exemptions and reductions on service feesfor all transactions via the National Payment Corporation of Vietnam (NAPAS).
It also restructured its debts and lowered interest rates.
NAPAS halved switching fees for local banks from March 25 to promotecashless payments as a measure to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Following the move by NAPAS, 37 commercial banks reduced fees on fastinterbank fund transfers./.
