Hanoi (VNA) - The Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) has announced it will continue to cut fees on all interbank transfers to support customers amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
It will cut fees on both mutual payment services and the internet platform in its third round of reductions for this year.
The bank previously offered exemptions and reductions on service fees for all transactions via the National Payment Corporation of Vietnam (NAPAS).
It also restructured its debts and lowered interest rates.
NAPAS halved switching fees for local banks from March 25 to promote cashless payments as a measure to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Following the move by NAPAS, 37 commercial banks reduced fees on fast interbank fund transfers./.
