Airgun and 2,000 pellets hidden in import goods found

Customs officers at Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport on August 25 uncovered an airgun and 2,000 pellets hidden in a consignment of import goods.

HCM City (VNA) – Customs officers at Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport on August 25 uncovered an airgun and 2,000 pellets hidden in a consignment of import goods.

A total of 24 air tanks and two lubricant tubes for the air pistol were also detected in import goods like clothes, shoes, supplement food, loudspeakers and bicycle components.

The receiver of the goods is a 34-year-old Vietnamese national. However, he cannot provide related documents for the gun and pellets.

Further investigation is underway.-VNA
