Ancient Cham towers welcome thousands returning for the Kate festival

Kate is the most important folk festival of the Cham Brahman people, held to honour deities and ancestors while praying for favourable weather, peace, and prosperity. This year, from the morning of October 21, ancient Cham towers in Phan Rang (Khanh Hoa province) officially opened their doors, welcoming thousands of Cham people returning home to celebrate.
