Another electric car service for tourism is scheduled to go into operation at Tay Ho district, Hanoi on Sep 2 to mark National Independence Day.
Another electric car service for tourism is scheduled to go into operation at Tay Hodistrict, Hanoi on Sep 2 to mark National Independence Day.

Some 20 electric cars will take visitors for sightseeing around WestLake and other famous landscapes including different pagodas, communalhouses, temples and parks, said the state-owned Tay Ho company, theoperator of the project.

Since June 2010, thetourist route in Hoan Kiem district operated by the Dong Xuan JointStock company has run two tour routes each day. One rolls through tradestreets and Dong Xuan market and the latter takes visitors to streetsfamous for their food and traditional trade as well as the historicalsites of Ngoc Son temple, Kim Ngan communal house and the Temple of theLe Kings./.

Tourist train linking Phong Nha and Hue heritage sites launched

The 190-km route runs between Hue, Dong Ha, My Trach, Dong Hoi and Tho Loc stations, giving travellers access to destinations including the Complex of Hue Monuments, Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, Vinh Moc Tunnels, Hien Luong–Ben Hai historical site and Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park.
