By hosting the 2017 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders’Week, Vietnam has not only reaffirmed its policy of deepening international integration.
The APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) will urge APEC Economic Leaders to press ahead with structural and trade reform, said 2017 ABAC Chair Hoang Van Dung said at a press conference on November 6.
The Vietnam Business Summit themed “Vietnam: We Mean Business!” is scheduled to take place in the central coastal city of Da Nang on November 7 within the framework of the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week 2017.
The hosting of the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting for the second time shows the international community’s recognition of Vietnam’s contributions to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum and affirms the country’s position in the region and the world, according to Czech journalist Pavel Herman.
