Armenian PM concludes official visit to Vietnam

Hanoi (VNA) – Armenian Prime Minister NikolPashinyan and his entourage on July 7 concluded the official visit to Vietnam.

During his four-day stay, the Armenian PM had talks with hisVietnamese counterpart Nguyen Xuan Phuc, and met National Assembly CharwomanNguyen Thi Kim Ngan, and representatives from a number of Vietnamese firms.

At the meetings, the two sides affirmed that the visit will createa breakthrough in bilateral relations, contributing to foster the multifaceted cooperationbetween Vietnam and Armenia.

They agreed on many orientations and measures to furtherbolster bilateral partnership in the future.

Both sides highly valued the sound political relationshipbetween the two countries and concurred to increase meetings and exchanges ofdelegations at all levels through all channels such as government, parliament,business, people-to-people exchange, while continuing to coordinate at forumssuch as the UN, the Francophonie, the Non-Aligned Movement, thus contributingto common peace, stability and development.

The two sides agreed to improve the efficiency of theVietnam-Armenia Inter-Governmental Committee on economic-trade andscience-technology cooperation, while focusing efforts on implementing the freetrade agreement between Vietnam and the Eurasian Economic Union in whichArmenia is a member.

Vietnam and Armenia will expand affiliation ineducation-training, health care, culture, sports, tourism, security and defence.

Both sides also discussed a number of international andregional issues of shared concern, including the peaceful settlement ofdisputes in the Asia-Pacific region, including the East Sea, in line withinternational law.

On the occasion, the Vietnamese and Armenian PMs witnessedthe signing of an agreement on cooperation in education and science between thetwo governments. -VNA

Deputy FM highlights parliamentary diplomacy gains from IPU-152, European trips

Vietnam, China sign 32 cooperation documents

The documents include a cooperation plan between the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and the Communist Party of China (CPC) for the 2026–2030 period; a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation between the Organisation Commission of the CPV Central Committee and its Chinese counterpart; and a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam and the International Liaison Department of the CPC Central Committee.
