Vietnamese in Laos remember late President Kaysone Phomvihan on birth anniversary

Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos Nguyen Minh Tam led a delegation to laid flowers in commemoration of the 104th birth anniversary of President Kaysone Phomvihane (December 13, 1920 - 2024) at his museum in Vientiane on December 12 morning.

Vientiane (VNA) – Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos Nguyen Minh Tam led a delegation to laid flowers in commemoration of the 104th birth anniversary of President Kaysone Phomvihane (December 13, 1920 - 2024) at his museum in Vientiane on December 12 morning.

The late Lao President was a great and close friend of the Vietnamese people, as well as an outstanding and beloved leader of the Lao people. He made significant contributions to the Laos’s revolutionary cause and the special relationship between Vietnam and Laos.

The delegates promised to do their best to nurture the everlasting special solidarity between the two countries./.

Foreign policy contributes to propelling Vietnam into new era

2024 saw Vietnam significantly expanding its diplomatic activities with numerous partners and at various important multilateral forums and mechanisms. The country’s key leaders conducted a total of 60 external activities, including paying 21 visits to foreign countries and attend major multilateral conferences, as well as hosting 25 delegations of foreign leaders to Vietnam.
