The online Vietnam People’s Army Newspaper (PAN) officially launched its Chinese language edition on June 19.
The debut of this edition is expected to play an important role in providing official and accurate information relating to Vietnam ’s politi cal and diplomatic activities and the relationship between the Vietnam People’s Army and the armed forces of other countries , including the Chinese People’s Liberation Army.
PAN Editor in Chief, Major-General Le Phuc Nguyen, said that the launch of this edition will help to implement the Vietnamese Party and State’s foreign policies and consolidate the friendly Vietnamese-Chinese ties.
When interviewed by PAN, China ’s Ambassador to Vietnam , Kong Xuan You, said that the Chinese edition would also help to consolidate and strengthen the solidarity and friendship between China ’s People’s Liberation Army and Vietnam People’s Army.
The Ambassador added that he hopes the Chinese edition will be a good channel of information so readers can understand more about Vietnamese-Chinese relations.-VNA
