an exchange with the Republic of Korea (RoK)’s soldiers in South
Chungcheong province on March 22.
This was one of the Vietnamese troupe’s activities during their week-long tour of the RoK to introduce Vietnam ’s folk culture to Korean friends and strengthen bilateral ties on the occasion of the 20 th anniversary of the two countries’ diplomatic ties.
Earlier on March 20, the troupe also joined Korean military artists in another exchange held at the Korean Broadcasting Station (KBS) in Seoul .
Entitled “Vietnam-RoK Friendship Bridge”, the exchange aimed to promote mutual understanding between the Vietnamese and Korean peoples as well as promote friendship and cooperation between the two nations.
Vietnamese and Korean artists received great applause from audiences when performing folksongs in both national languages.-VNA
