The Asian Women’s Beach Volleyball Championships opened in Tuan Chaubeach of the northern province of Quang Ninh on April 29,attracting the participation of 17 teams from 11 countries andterritories around the world.
The two-day event ispart of the Ha Long – Quang Ninh Tourism Week, jointly held by theVolleyball Federation of Vietnam, Vietnam Television, Quang NinhDepartment of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Au Lac Company Limited.
It will close on April 30. The winning team will get 3,000 USD from a total funding of 15,000 USD for the event./.
