Jakarta (VNA) - Australian trade and investment minister Andrew Robb will lead a 300-strong business delegation to the Australia-Indonesia Business Week from November 17-20 to foster trade and investment cooperation between the two nations.

The delegation, the largest ever of its kind, will meet Indonesian leaders to set up business links and enhance trade relations in the fields of agriculture, education, infrastructure, tourism and natural resources.

Australia hopes for a thriving Australia- Indonesia business relationship not only in a bilateral sense but also in third markets, Australian Ambassador to Indonesia Paul Grigson said, noting that two-way trade is yet to match potential.

In the past few years, Australia has furthered its relations with Indonesia - the largest economy in Southeast Asia.

Indonesia is a major market for Australia’s beef, live cattle, wheat and sugar. It is now Australia’s 12 th biggest trading partner, with a turnover of 11.1 billion USD in 2014.
