Hue University has conferred the “Honorary Professor” title on Prof. Dr. A Min Tjoa, Director of the Institute of Software Technology and Interactive Systems under the Vienna University of Technology.
The title aims to recognise Prof. Dr. A Min Tjoa’s valuable contributions to promoting training and scientific research cooperation between Hue University and Austrian education establishments, helping the university join the network of Asian-European universities in 2006.
Prof. Dr. A Min Tjoa also directly guided a number of Hue University lecturers in conducting doctoral theses and fostered the signing of an agreement on cooperation and joint training of IT doctors between Hue University and the Vienna University of Technology.
Speaking at the award ceremony on April 13, Prof. Dr. A Min Tjoa said it was honour for him to receive the “Honorary Professor” title of Hue University. He also promised to do his utmost to further step up cooperation between Hue University and the Vienna University of Technology./.
