Bac Giang (VNA) – Improving the effectiveness and creating positive changes in Party building, particularly the Party’s leadership capacity and combativeness, were identified as key tasks of Party organisations in the northern province of Bac Giang in the 2025-2030 period, said the provincial Party Committee.

Accordingly, the province will focus on improving the performance of the grassroots Party committees, renovating the contents and improving the efficiency of Party meetings while paying greater attention to tackling shortcomings and weaknesses of the Party organisations at the grassroots level.

The province will also pay attention to the development of Party membership in both quantity and quality, increasing the admission of new members among workers, especially those in private enterprises, students, and people in rural areas.

Bac Giang will continue increasing inspection and supervision over the implementation of the Party discipline. Party members will be expelled from the Party if they are found to be no longer qualified.

Since the beginning of the 2020-2025 term, the provincial Party organisation has achieved many positive results in Party building and improving the quality of Party members.

Bac Giang provincial Party Committee directed the Party committees and Party organisations at all levels to review and rearrange its structures to ensure effective operation. Specifically, commune-level police-military Party cells were dissolved while commune-level police’s Party cells were established in localities where regular police are based. Party cells of the Land Registration Office were established under the district Party Committees. District-level Party organisations at enterprises and industrial parks maintained and improved their performance.

Since 2021, 50,575 Party members have been trained to update new knowledge; 4,146 members of grassroots Party committees and 3,565 secretaries of Party committees at grassroots levels trained in Party building skills and updated with new knowledge.

In the last four years, the whole province admitted 8,807 to the Party, bringing the total membership of the provincial Party organisations to 89,455.

Implementing Directive No. 28-CT/TW dated January 21, 2019 of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat, from 2021 to 2023, the provincial Party organisation expelled 427 members from the Party./.
