Bac Giang steps up trade promotion activities

Bac Giang (VNA) – Vice Chairman of the Bac Giang provincial People’s Committee has said the northern province is stepping up trade promotion activities in 2024.

Accordingly, the province will promote and introduce its economic and socio-cultural achievements and development potential while attracting both domestic and foreign partners and enterprises investing in the locality.

In addition, Bac Giang is implementing the 'Vietnamese people prioritise using Vietnamese goods' campaign, creating opportunities for businesses to expand their distribution networks in the domestic market, building trust in domestic products among consumers, and contributing to the socio-economic development of the province.

In the remaining months of this year, the province is scheduled to welcome foreign enterprises to seek investment opportunities as well as bolster trade, commerce and the province’s key agricultural exports such as lychee.

Bac Giang plans to hold a conference to promote the consumption of oranges, grapefruits and typical and potential products in Luc Ngan district.

This includes chickens and agricultural, forestry and handicraft products in Yen The district in October and November 2024.

The province will also organise and participate in trade fairs and exhibitions at home and abroad such as events to introduce and sell key agricultural products and One Commune – One Product (OCOP) products of Bac Giang in Ho Chi Minh City, attend the 2024 China-Vietnam International Trade Fair in Kunming city in China's Yunnan province, and the Vietnam-China International Trade and Tourism Fair in Lang Son province./.
