A 100kg boa-constrictor (python reticulates) python kept in Bac Lieu Sanctuary in the Mekong delta province of Bac Lieu for more than a year has died.
According to Nguyen Trung Chanh, the sanctuary’s director, the rare snake, which was 5.2m long and 50 cm in diameter, apparently died from lung cancer. It had refused to eat or drink for many months.-VNA
