Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam’s newest carrier Bamboo Airways has announced that it will open a direct route between Cam Ranh city in the south central province of Khanh Hoa and Incheon city in the Republic of Korea (RoK) from November 15.
The carrier plans to operate one round-trip flight on the Cam Ranh-Incheon route every day.
On October 17, Bamboo Airways officially launched a direct route between the central city of Da Nang and Incheon, using Airbus A321neo with a return-trip flight a day.
In addition, the airline is operating charter flights on Hanoi-Jeju and Da Nang-Jeju routes.
Bamboo Airways is operating flights on 28 domestic routes and international ones to Japan, the RoK, and China, including Macau and Taiwan.
In 2019, the airline plans to expand its network to 37-40 routes, including those to the RoK, Taiwan and Southeast Asian countries. Its fleet is expected to expand to 30 by the end of this year./.
