Becamex IDC aids mass COVID-19 testing in Binh Duong's IPs

Industrial, urban and transport infrastructure developer Becamex IDC Corp on June 14 signed an agreement to offer 40 billion VND (1.74 million USD) for the purchase of medical equipment and materials for mass COVID-19 testing in the southern province of Binh Duong, particularly at industrial parks.

Binh Duong  (VNA) – Industrial, urban andtransport infrastructure developer Becamex IDC Corp on June 14 signed anagreement to offer 40 billion VND (1.74 million USD) for the purchase ofmedical equipment and materials for mass COVID-19 testing in the southern province ofBinh Duong, particularly at local industrial parks.

During the fourth wave of COVID-19 outbreaks, which hit Vietnam in lateApril, Binh Duong recorded infections in a number of businesses, one of whichwas blockaded with 600 workers put under quarantine.

According to a representative of Becamex IDC, the companyhas also worked to assist COVID-19 testing at the local Becamex International Hospital, My Phuoc General Hospital, and medical centre of Tan Uyen township.

Earlier, the corporation donated 25 billion VND to the nationalfund for COVID-19 prevention and control./.

According to the municipal Department of Health, as of July 20, a total of 732,873 residents had undergone periodic check-ups and had electronic health records established.
