The Belgian Government will provide 6.2 million EUR (7.7 million USD) for Vietnam to improve the quality of its human resources.

An agreement for the project was recently signed by Deputy Minister of Education and Training Bui Van Ga and Belgian Ambassador to Vietnam Angelet Bruno.

The project aims to contribute to the growth and sustainable development of Vietnam by helping it to become a knowledge-based country by 2020.

The four-and-a-half-year project will focus on enhancing the management and innovation capacity of chosen organisations and individuals.

The Ministry of Education and Training is responsible for the implementation and management of the project.-VNA
