Binh Duong int’l women cycling tournament closes

The first Binh Duong International Women Cycling Open Tournament (Biwase Cup 2011) ended in the southern province of Binh Duong on March 13.

After six days of competition, the threehighest posts of the individual categories all went to Vietnamesecyclists. They are Nguyen Thi That from An Giang, Pham Thi Kim Loan fromDong Thap and Vo Thi Phuong Phi from Binh Duong.

Regarding the team category, Dong Thap won the first prize whileMalaysia and Binh Duong won the second and third prizes, respectively.

The total prize money, amounting to over 200 millionVND, was awarded to the tournament’s yellow, green and white jerseywinners and the best team.

The tournament drew theparticipation of 56 cyclists from 12 domestic teams and two foreignsquads from Thailand and Malaysia . They competed in six stages ofover 540 kilometre long racing track through various southern provincesof Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Long An, Tay Ninh and Binh Phuoc./.

PM Chinh suggested Brazil and Vasco da Gama increase cooperation activities and support Vietnam in developing football, such as training and educating players, especially improving players' physical strength and skills, improving management capacity, developing brands, mobilising and managing resources, organising competitions, as well as continuing to "export" Brazilian players to Vietnam and Vietnamese players to Brazil.

Italian short films to be screened in Hanoi

Vietnam Summer Camp 2025 promotes cultural connection, national unity

Running from July 13 - 26, the 2025 camp’s itinerary includes visits to historic and cultural sites like Cu Chi Tunnels, Kon Tum Prison Relic Site, and Quang Tri Martyrs’ Monument. Delegates will also take part in charitable activities in the Central Highlands, experience gong culture, and join exchanges with local youths and officers of the Vietnam Peacekeeping Department.
