The goal of the conference was to collectideas and opinions from experts, scientists, managers and businessmentowards long-term solutions for developing urban areas and servicesector or drawing investment.

The conference also reviewed Binh Duong’s past achievements and lessons to draw upon in the coming years.

Many speeches at the event discussed technical infrastructureconnectivity between the province and HCM City as well as localities inthe southern key economic zone, and the strategic master plan to upgradeBinh Duong into a centrally-governed city by 2020.

Nguyen Huu Tu, Deputy Secretary of the province’s Party Committee,thanked experts and scientists for their advice and underlined theimportance of sustainable development.-VNA
