Bangkok (VNA) – A bomb attack in southern Thailand has claimed four lives and injured four others, the Thai police said on November 13.

The bomb exposed on November 12 evening at a checkpoint in Khok Pho district, the southern province of Pattani.

Violent attacks have occurred in southern Thailand over the past 11 years. Since 2004, the conflict in Yaly, Pattani, Narathiwat and Songkhla province has led to more than 6,400 deaths.-VNA
