Phnom Penh (VNA) - Cambodia will donate medical materials and equipment to help Myanmar in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the Cambodian Ministry of Health.
The donations include 3 million face masks, 200,000 N95 face masks, 100,000 goggles, 30,000 personal protective equipment (PPE), 30,000 face shields, 3,000 safety plastic boots, 50 ventilators, 50 patient monitors, and 50 units of Oxygen concentrators.
This is the third time that the Government of Cambodia provides medical assistance to Myanmar’s COVID-19 fight.
The information was announced prior to Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen’s visit to Myanmar scheduled on January 7 which focuses on ongoing instability in the country./.
