Vinh Long (VNA) - A delegation from Cambodia’s Kampong Speu province, led by its Governor Vei Samnang, on January 29 visited and extended greetings to the Party Organisation, administration and people of the Mekong Delta province of Vinh Long on the occasion of the Lunar New Year (Tet) Festival.
Receiving the delegation, Chairman of the Vinh Long provincial People’s Committee Lu Quang Ngoi said that Vietnam and Cambodia have shared a long-standing traditional relationship and the two peoples have always stood side by side and helped each other. Upholding the traditional friendship and special solidarity between the two nations, the two provinces have always maintained and strengthened the sound relationship.
Ngoi thanked the Cambodian delegation and wished the "good neighbourliness, traditional friendship, comprehensive cooperation and long-term sustainability" between the two countries and their localities in particular will reap more fruitful results in the time ahead.
