During the 10 days of working, they examined and treated nearly 4,000locals in seven districts and Cao Bang city, with focus on dental,optic, obstetric and cardiovascular diseases.
The programme has a budget of 11 billion VND (517,000 USD), which were collected by Vietnamese-born US doctors.
All equipment used during the programme was given to the provincialhealth sector. The group also transferred the technology and helpedimprove expertise for local doctors.
