Cat Linh – Ha Dong metro line prior to handover date
The Ministry of Transport has asked China’s EPC general contractor to put the Cat Linh – Ha Dong metro line in Hanoi into trial run from November 1 to handover date.

The Ministry of Transport has requested the Chinese contractor of Cat Linh-Ha Dong metro line in Hanoi to commit a specific deadline when the project will be finished.
The Ministry of Transport plans to hand over the Cat Linh - Ha Dong metro project to Hanoi after the checking, calculation, and receipt of dossiers, documents, and assets are completed.
Hanoi will offer free travel for all passengers on its first metro line Cat Linh – Ha Dong during the first 15 days after the line is put into operation, according to Director of the city’s Department of Transport Vu Van Vien.
