The COVID-19 patient with British nationality (patient 91) has been transferred from the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases of Ho Chi Minh City to Cho Ray Hospital for continued intensive treatment.
This is one of the most serious cases of Covid-19 infected in Vietnam.
Before being moved to Cho Ray hospital for treatment this patient had repeatedly given negative result for the SARS-CoV-2 virus test.
The patient shows signs of stable and positive condition. With 30% of the lungs restored, the patient is recovering well.
The team in charge of treating patient 91 at Cho Ray hospital had conducted a consultation and assessing his current condition.
The patient will continue to receive medical treatment. Doctors are treating his infections and underlying medical conditions. They will do a lung transplant for the patient when his health improves./.
