Hanoi (VNA) - TH Group's annual attendance at the China International Import Exposition (CIIE), the country’s largest fair, taking place from November 5-10, continues to affirm its position in the market of the world largest economy, therefore increasing the reach of TH dairy products and beverages in particular and Vietnamese-branded products in general to international consumers.

Strong foothold in the international arena

Over the years, TH Group's products have been available and won consumers’ hearts in the most demanding markets such as the US, Europe, Japan, and Republic of Korea, and especially China – where the standards for imported dairy goods are considered to be the strictest in the world.

Entering the Chinese market in 2016, TH's clean and fresh dairy products have always received special attention from users. They are assessed by Chinese importers as having the same quality as those from European and American countries.

In 2018, TH Group's products attracted special attention when participating in the first CIIE. At the opening ceremony of the fair on November 5, 2018, the then Prime Minister of Vietnam, Nguyen Xuan Phuc (now President) and Party General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping visited participating pavilions from countries, including Vietnam. During their tour, President Xi picked up a 1-liter box of TH true MILK pasteurized fresh milk and carefully looked it over.

In October 2019, TH became the first Vietnamese dairy company to be granted a transaction code by the General Department of Customs of China, which meant it was allowed to officially export fresh milk products to the market. The permission was assessed by the then Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Xuan Cuong as "marking an important growth step regarding the quality of Vietnamese agricultural products".

Via participating in many editions of the annual expo and launching methodical trade promotion activities, TH products have made sustainable progress in penetrating China, the world's second largest dairy market. A TH Group representative said that so far, it has developed different sales channels on e-commerce platforms, with its official stores on T-Mall (https://thsp.world.tmall.com) and Alibaba (https://thgroupglobal.trustpass.alibaba.com) posting nationwide sales and shipments. The group also strongly promoted its direct sales channels at wholesale markets and famous supermarket chains in Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangsu, and Guangzhou, among others.

In 2022, TH Group has made careful preparation for its participation in the 5th CIIE in Shanghai. With a scale of over 360,000m2, the fair attracts the participation of businesses from 127 countries and territories across the globe, and more than 2,900 exhibitors. It is expected to welcome about 480,000 visitors (including 281 Fortune Global 500 enterprises). Therefore, the expo will be an opportunity for the group to affirm the position of the Vietnamese dairy industry on the global map of fresh milk and beverage suppliers, hence the formation of a solid supply chain with major partners and international consumers in this field.

The group has brought to the fair various products, including TH True MILK, TH true NUT, TH true JUICE, TH true TEA, and TH true JUICE.

"Through CIIE, TH Group wishes to find potential partners and customers and continue to expand the commercial promotion of its products in the market of billions of people," said a TH representative.

The group’s impression at CIIE over years is the affirmation of its quality and reputation as a leading dairy maker in Vietnam by meeting thousands of strict criteria on animal feed, veterinary medicine, processing and distribution.

Hero of Labour Thai Huong, founder of the group, said right from the beginning of the TH true MILK project, the group has formed closed production chains and used world leading technology to produce fresh milk.

She said therefore, TH Group meets the food safety criteria for fresh milk and dairy products, and officially exports its goods via the most prestigious distribution channels in China. In particular, TH true MILK yogurt and fresh milk products are very popular among Chinese consumers

Prestigious brand of Vietnamese consumers

In Vietnam, TH Group has always been evaluated as one of the leading enterprises in producing clean agricultural products and a favorite brand of Vietnamese consumers, which is a solid "launch pad" for export.

At the announcement ceremony of the 8th Vietnam national brand product programme on November 2 this year, TH Group had five products honoured – TH true MILK, TH true ICE CREAM, TH true NUT, TH true WATER, and TH true JUICE. The products have also won many prestigious international awards such as the World Food Moscow, ASEAN Best Food Product 2015, Gulfood Dubai 2016, and Stevie Awards 2018.

"Products accredited as Vietnam’s national brand have top quality, high scientific and technological content, prestige in the market and represent the country’s national brand in the international arena," emphasized Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien.

TH has brought products having international quality and the pride of Vietnamese brand to the world, consolidating the position of Vietnamese goods in the international market./.
