In the past six months, Vietnamese airlines have operated nearly 160 international routes connecting Vietnam with countries worldwide, according to a report from the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam. As of July, the total number of aircraft of Vietnamese airlines receiving air operator certificate (AOC) stood at 195, a drop of 36 compared to the same period last year, statistic from the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam. Of which, the number of commercial aircraft utilised by the airlines was 167, a year-on-year decline of 51.

Vietnam Airlines named most punctual domestic carrier in H1

Vietnam Airlines passengers should not have too many gripes when it comes to flight arrival and departure as the national flag carrier was named the most punctual airline in Vietnam in the first half, achieving an on-time performance (OTP) rate of 84.1%.
