A concert was held in Hanoi on May 8 to mark the 20 th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK).
The President of the association of Korean people living Vietnam , Park Kwang Joo, said that the event underlined the friendship between the two countries.
It is also a chance for both peoples to share their love of music with eachother, he added.
The Vice Chairman of the Vietnam-RoK Friendship Association, Pham Tien Van, mentioned that both countries have raised their relationship to a strategic partnership in 2009.
Agreements signed in various areas including economics, science, investment promotions and non-refundable aid have been carried out well, contributing to the bilateral relationship between the two nations, he said.
A similar concert will be held in northern Bac Ninh province on May 9./.
