Condolences to RoK over passing of former President

Hanoi (VNA) - President Nguyen Xuan Phuc on October 29 sent his condolences to President of the Republic of Korea Moon Jae-in over the passing of former President Roh Tae-woo.

On the same day, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son also cabled his messages of condolences to his RoK counterpart Chung Eui-yong.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Vu Quang Minh, on behalf of the Government of Vietnam, visited the RoK Embassy in Hanoi and wrote in the condolence book.

Roh Tae-woo, who served as the president of the RoK from 1988 to 1993, passed away on October 26, at 88./.
